Freelancing has some benefits, not least of which is being able to crank the subwoofer on the computer speakers so the bass comes through clearly.

How are things with your dad, D?

Oh, I know, I did it for years! Now, unfortunately, I have to consider other people's listening preference (i.e., silence) at work :(
Thanks for asking, my dad is pretty much the same and holding.

Hey Rob, I got the crap Dell speakers that came with my system. Wondering what setup you are using with sub-woofers, I constantly think about upgrading but have not acted yet.

When I'm tied to the desk I use Logitech desktop speakers - not the handsomest things in the land but they do a nice job. Biggest downside is the cables always getting tangled. Of course it's always best to put work to one side, settle down and ramp up the big floor standing speakers...

Hey JG - I have the Creative Labs I-Trigue speakers which connect easily to my computer or Ipod and sound great.

Mine look like this and were about $50 when I bought them 5+ years ago.
